With great enthusiasm and a deep commitment to our organization, I announce that I am the President of the Pulaski Association.
I have dedicated 17 years of my life to the Department, joining in January 2006. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of serving in various assignments and roles, each adding to my deep appreciation for the Department's mission. Currently, I serve as the warehouse supervisor in the Quartermaster Section. Beyond my professional life, I'm a proud mother to an energetic son, and my family and I call Long Island, our home. My experiences within the Department and as a parent have instilled in me a passion that I will use to enhance OUR Association and its impact on our members and community.
I want to acknowledge the importance of revitalizing our beloved Association. Recently, we have faced challenges, and we must adapt and thrive in the ever-changing world around us. I firmly believe that the Pulaski Association has the potential to be a vibrant and thriving community that not only serves its members but also has a positive impact on the world. My vision for OUR Association revolves around two core principles: increasing morale and boosting our organization's presence. These principles are intrinsically connected, as a motivated and engaged membership base is the key to achieving greater visibility and impact.
Enhancing Member Engagement: We will craft new and exciting programs, events, and initiatives "together" that cater to our members' diverse interests and needs. This engagement will foster a sense of belonging and pride within the Pulaski Association.
Strengthening Communication: I am committed to improving our communication channels, and ensuring members are informed about Association activities, achievements, and opportunities. Transparency and open dialogue are crucial for building trust and morale.
Expanding Outreach: To boost our organization's presence, we will explore new avenues for outreach and collaboration. This outreach includes partnering with like-minded organizations, participating in community events, and leveraging social media and online platforms to raise our profile.
Empowering Members: I will work to create opportunities for members to take an active role in reshaping the direction of OUR Association. Your input and ideas will be invaluable in driving positive change.
